Standard First Aid N-703

The purpose of this course is to teach lay responders the knowledge and skills necessary to give care in an emergency, help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injusry or sudden illness until medical help arrives. Some topics to be covered within this course include: controlling bleedling, how to treat soft tissue and musculosketetal injuries, how to identify the signs and symptoms of sudden illness, including stroke, diabetic emergency, poisoning and allergic reactions, and describe how to care for them. ***If you would like to receive a certification card it will cost $25.  Bring the money to class*** The certification card is not approved for daycare providers!
