Spring 2010

Welcome to our 2010 Winter/SpringCatalog! Start your new year off right with a variety of courses--computer, crafts, cooking, health and wellness programs and a variety of other topics. Learn something new, get together with your friends and come to see what you can learn. This year we have expanded our bus trips, too!

As our world changes daily, one thing remains constant in a highly competitive job market: that is the need for continuing education for students who need a high school diploma to remain viable candidates for new jobs and opportunities.

East Shore Region Adult Continuing Education (ERACE) and the Branford, North Branford, Guilford/Madison and Clinton Adult Education Programs are excited to offer you the most comprehensive and diverse educational programs and courses on the shoreline! While we are proud of the variety of courses our enrichment program provides to our communities, please do not hesitate to let your friends and family members know about our adult education academic programs and the need of having a high school diploma or a GED.

Right now, someone you know can be earning a high school diploma in our evening classes. That someone can even be you. It doesn’t cost a thing to enroll and attend our academic programs, but it can cost a lifetime of “less” if you don’t have a degree. Did you know that a  person with a high school diploma can earn over $1 million more in lifetime than someone who does not have a high school diploma.

Adult learners can gain an EDP (External Diploma Program) while they work, as ERACE provides a program of supervision and guidance. We have programs that will fit your life! Invest time in your career and you and your family will be the better for it!

If you know of someone who has difficulty with the English language and needs to develop communication skills, our staff provides individualized instruction with our ESL (English as a Second Language) program: we have several locations to serve these students. Contact our adult education office for information.
